Bringing AI tools into Digital Marketing is something every marketer should do because it can help reduce time and increase efficiency in marketing.

In this article, I will introduce 14 interesting AI tools.

From my experience, using just 1-2 AI tools well can massively enhance your work capacity.

Guaranteed, all the tools in this list are selected as interesting and worth using.

Let’s dive into it!

14 Recommended AI Tools for Digital Marketing

1. ChatGPT

ChatGPT is the first AI tool that made GenAI widely known to the masses.

It is a tool developed to meet needs in content creation, marketing planning, and deep data analysis. Whether you need to write an article or analyze a marketing campaign, ChatGPT can help with it all.

Put simply, it’s best for overall use.

Example of a problem you could try for ChatGPT to help: “I have a healthy snack company selling products at 49 USD each. I want to achieve monthly sales of 30,000 USD and have a marketing budget of 3,000 USD per month. How should I advertise?”

From the image below, you’ll see ChatGPT can provide answers in the form of detailed strategic planning, such as choosing target groups, budget allocation, and promotion methods.

In addition, ChatGPT can help you create suitable content for various channels, from social media posts, blog posts, to newsletters.

2. Claude

Claude stands out for its understanding of languages, making it suitable for content that needs delicacy and contextual language comprehension.

From my experience using AI tools for writing, Claude writes in language that is human-like and most eloquent.

Suppose I need an informative article, such as “What is Digital Marketing,” and I let Claude write this article; I’ll get a 1,500-word piece with detailed, professional headings and subheadings. Claude also understands using words that communicate directly to the target group, so the content is concise yet comprehensive.

Although the contents sound human, in my opinion, adding human expertise & experience is still important because that will make your content different from others.

3. Merlin

Merlin is one of the AI tools suitable for those who want to research and summarize key points quickly. You can easily use it via a browser extension. Once installed, Merlin can pull information from long articles or videos and summarize them into easily understandable text in no time.

For example, I once asked Merlin to summarize key points from a video such as “40 Things Before I Turn 40” and Merlin summarized the content into numbered points with main issues in just a few seconds.

I then made a few edits and shared it on social media, which earned me hundreds of shares.

For marketers doing market or competitor research, Merlin helps cut down the time taken to extract essential information from in-depth articles.

4. Gemini

I really like Gemini for generating product pack-shot images with actual people holding the products.

I think Gemini stands out for creating realistic images, suitable for e-commerce businesses and advertising—creating product images that look interesting and attract customers without needing to be a professional photographer.

Sample images from Gemini can be further customized, whether it’s lighting, shadows, or product arrangement to fit your brand.

The image below is an example I had Gemini generate—a person holding up a water bottle.

5. Midjourney

I think Midjourney is best overall for creating visual content.

Midjourney is an AI designed for creating visual content. You can customize artwork by adding commands (prompt) like “tiny cute adorable ginger kitten studio light”; the resulting image will match the details.

Additionally, you can set parameters such as color, composition, and desired quality. You can see more about the parameters here.

The image below I created with the prompt “tiny cute adorable ginger kitten studio light -chaos 00 –ar 16:9”.

Midjourney is great for jobs that need to show brand identity through creativity, such as artwork, ads, or posters for events.

6. Notion AI

Notion acts like a second brain for work, letting you jot down various things.

Notion AI makes Notion more than just a traditional note-taking tool.

You can create to-do lists, plan marketing strategies, link data, or even use it to write articles in one place. Notion AI helps organize information so you can see the big picture or drill down into details more easily.

Notion AI’s preset prompts help you manage your “second brain” better. Whether you want to summarize, expand, condense, or edit content, Notion AI can help.

The image below is an example of content using Notion AI to generate a summary.

7. Meetgeek

For people who have meetings often, Meetgeek is a tool that records meetings quite well, though not 100% correctly in some languages—but the main points remain. Plus Meetgeek can instantly summarize the main points and action items for you.

Meetgeek reduces the steps of taking notes and saves report-preparation time for marketers—and helps record meeting minutes quickly, too.

8. Hailuo AI

Hailuo AI is perfect for content creators who want to make videos using AI.

Hailuo AI has many ready-made templates to choose from.

Whether you want fun or serious videos, you can customize them to fit your content style.

A great thing about Hailuo AI is it saves time and video production costs, especially when creating videos for social media.

Also, Hailuo AI is great for making videos that explain products, services, or marketing campaigns, making your business stand out on social platforms.

Hailuo AI can help you create a 6-second video every time you generate once.

This video is an example made using Hailuo AI;

9. Heygen | Master of Talking Head Videos

When it comes to creating talking head videos, I think Heygen is the best tool I’ve used.

You can use Heygen to make clips in other languages. Just upload a sample video where you speak (it can be in any language) and use gestures, and Heygen will learn your voice and your gestures.

Then, simply write the script you want the AI to say or write a prompt for the AI to generate the script.

You will get a talking head video with your face and voice.

The example below is an example of a talking head video I made using Heygen.

10. ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is a tool made for generating high-quality voiceovers, perfect for voice-over work, creating podcasts, or narrating ad videos.

Its highlight is that ElevenLabs voices are natural and support many languages. For example, if you want to create an online lesson voice-over for listeners in Southeast Asia, ElevenLabs can help in no time.

This flexibility means marketers or content creators don’t have to spend a lot on voiceover teams or professional voice actors. See more at the ElevenLabs website.

11. Suno

Suno is an AI music generator that I think is one of the easiest and most interesting to use.

If you want to turn text and lyrics into melody, Suno can help you.

Whether you need a backing track for a video or a song for an ad, you can make it all.

The example at this link is an example where I used ChatGPT to write the lyrics, then put them into Suno, choosing music style “happy, fun, children song, children’s music”.

Nice lyrics, good music—right? :)

12. Loveable

If you want to build an application but don’t have a development team, Loveable is the answer for making an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) by using Vibe Coding (telling AI to write the code).

Loveable lets you design simple applications without any coding knowledge.

The image below is an example of the result when I asked Loveable to create a software review website similar to G2 for me.

Note: What Loveable can do is only the frontend, not including backend (like database). If you only need a site to display information, Loveable alone is enough. But if you need it to store data, you’ll need a system for that, like Supabase.

13. Gamma

Do you feel that making presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides takes too long? Gamma can help.

Gamma is an AI tool that helps design presentations. You can write outlines or bullets, and then let Gamma design the presentation for you.

If you don’t even have the outline or bullet points yet, you can write the topic title and Gamma will brainstorm an outline and build the presentation.

A key benefit of Gamma is speed: just choose a template, add data, and do a little tweaking, and you will get a presentation that looks like it was designed by a professional designer.

The example below is a presentation on Generative AI that I made using Gamma.

You can try the real thing from this link. I let Gamma create it without any editing.

14. Grammarly

Grammarly is a longstanding, popular English grammar checker.

Besides just proofreading, Grammarly’s AI also suggests tone adjustments or changes writing style for your target audience.

The image below is an example of how I used Grammarly to make my English content more compelling.

Summary: Recommended AI Tools

These are 14 AI tools to help you do better digital marketing.

As I said in the beginning, you don’t need to use them all. Just pick 1-2 that solve your problems or boost your efficiency, and you might find yourself doing things faster and better already.

Finally, I wish you success in using these AI tools! :)
